RabbitMQ

CohesiveFT and LShift Launch RabbitMQ

CohesiveFT and LShift, a London software developemnt company, have released RabbitMQ.  RabbitMQ is a complete open source implementation of Advanced Message Queuing Protocol (AMQP), the emerging standard for high performance enterprise messaging.

RabbitMQ server is written on top of the widely-used Open Telecom Platform originated and supported by Ericsson. The Open Telecom Platform (OTP) is a battle-tested library of management, monitoring, and support code for constructing extremely high-performance, reliable, scalable, available (nine nines!) distributed network applications. The RabbitMQ client libraries and broker can be used together to create an AMQP network, or used individually to bring the benefits of AMQP to established networks. The RabbitMQ implementation is developed and supported through a joint venture between UK-based LShift and CohesiveFT.
